The graduate and post-graduate programs and activities of the Environmental Science and Engineering Department (ESED) at IIT Bombay are designed to address the needs and challenges of major industrial sectors, governmental sectors (MHRD, MOEF, CSIR, DST, AICTE), international agencies (WB, UNDP/UNEP, UNIDO), and various funding institutions.
The department has a dedicated group of faculty members with multi-disciplinary backgrounds and interests, working together with faculty co-opted from allied disciplines. The department offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MSc-PhD, and Ph.D. programmes, combining coursework with advanced research projects.
